These shoes were made for running, and that's just what they did last night. Inside, each set was a pair of happy feet at game's end. Sandpoint 55; Lakeland 37 |

The sun was shining---even after dark yesterday.
Yes, part of an afternoon spent with my sisters and their dogs walking the fields around McArthur Lake, was more than enhanced by sunshine, blue skies and dry, flat ground.
We definitely had happy feet.
What had been a gray, cold morning transformed into loveliness, almost the minute I texted them and asked if they'd like to go to McArthur.
The gray faded away in favor of light clouds and blue skies and that welcome sun.
Our visit to McArthur did not last long, but still is was enough to rid ourselves of more winter cobwebs.
Well, the sun---kind of figuratively speaking---kept up its good works well after dusk yesterday, at least in Les Rogers Bulldog Gym where Willie's team was taking on Lakeland in the best two out of three regional play-offs.
One play in particular was feeling her endorphins pretty much every time she let loose with the ball.
Yup, Maddie Morgan scored six 3-pointers of the 10 that hit the bucket during a convincing 55-37 victory.
I'll let Dylan Greene's story in the link tell you the rest.
One game away from going to STATE, and everyone in Sandpoint is hoping that's all it takes for the 15-7 Bulldog squad, which grew in numbers last night as some junior varsity stand-outs moved up and joined the varsity.
Lots of smiles last night, especially after the Bulldogs pulled ahead of the Hawks in the third quarter, never looking back.
Let's hope they seal the deal tomorrow (Friday) night in Bulldog Gym.
Twould be a very nice Valentine present for Coach Love, the team and all the Sandpoint fans!
Enjoy the photos.
Happy Thursday.

They look so young. Every one is beautiful. They are shining ambassadors and Sandpoint can be so proud of them. Thanks for the great pictures!
