To the Victor . . . the Spoils . . . ON TO STATE!

Bulldog Kaylee Banks finished off the net-cutting ceremony.

State ladies' hoops action for the Bulldogs begins next Thursday night in Nampa when they tip off against Burley in their tournament opener.

How many Bulldogs does it take to cut down the net?

The whole victorious team

and

one nice man named Tom to hold the ladder!

Bulldog seniors, team leaders.

Junior Hattie Larson is definitely a multi-tasker, both on and off the court.

Willie's film man and a future ZAG.  From what I've heard, Willie and Debbie have spent many a late night reviewing his game films, which Willie says are exceptional.

Paid off.

Daily Bee Sports editor Dylan Greene with post-game interview

Former student Marci Long Seymour.  Always fun to see members of the Long family.

Super Fan Nita and some lovely Valentine flowers.

Dad and son, two William Love's.

Yes, the Wild Irishman, Cliff came to cheer last night, along with his wife Patti.

One of my first grade classmates, Vance Ekwortzell and his wife Pat.

Bob and Peggy Barsoti.  Bob, who was a Catholic priest in his past life, promised he was praying for the Bulldogs!

Good job, Bob.  God was listening!

From an old school teacher who likes to tell teaching tales:  the lady who took this photo of the old and young Love's last night reminded me that she took my photography class back in 1990-'91, so, of course, she could take the picture.

Around the time Christine Bauer Parsley was in high school, Willie and Annie Love helped out the basketball coaches and Gale Dolsby, filming games.

Well, about 30 years later, Christine's son, one of Willie's students,  films Willie Love's basketball games.

A smart young man too; he's been accepted to Gonzaga University.

I heard that he was sure hoping the Sandpoint Bulldogs would win last night because he didn't want to miss tonight's ZAGS game.

Howz that for a roundabout way to get to the subject of  the ZAGS!!!

Christine, you did well---with the photo and with your kids!

Happy Saturday and GO, ZAGS !!!!
