A Perfect Piggly Wiggly World

Forget the Easter Bunny!

Let's give it a year off in favor of little pink piglets.

They're just as cute.

I met these bottle-fed young'uns in the neighborhood yesterday.

Yes, I kept my distance.  Thankfully, a telephoto lens is pretty handy at these times.

Their mothers (the bottle feeders) are amazing teenagers who have embraced life on the farm since they were tiny tots.

The piglets live among a menagerie of birds of different feathers, other pigs, goats, dogs, cats and probably some species I haven't seen.

And, they all "get along," kinda like Kenny Chesney likes to croon.

Animals tend to provide us some nice examples on how to live our lives.

Anyway, these four piggies are a month old.

They live in a nice pull-behind trailer in a garage.

But, there's no stay-at-home-24-7 order for these pigs.

When the trailer door comes open, they waste no time checking out the world around them.

That would include pant legs, grain sacks, dogs, chickens---you-name-it.

Their "liberty" session brought me great joy and some neat opportunities for photos.

And, so on this Saturday before what looks to be one of the more unusual Easters ever, why not give a shout-out to our porcine friends.

We can worry about the Easter Bunny tomorrow.

Plus, I think my sisters may just track down the one that's hanging out in their woods and slowly changing from winter white to summer brown.

Happy Saturday.

Hope the piggies and their friends make you smile.
