It just became official. Ravenwood Hot Stuff+/ , owned in partnership with sister Barbara Tibbs was named Reserve World Champion in the Level 1 Amateur Division of the Western Dressage Association of America's 2020 World Show that was held virtually this year.  This was out of 32 Horses competing in 64 rides in that division.

I am also very pleased to say that Ravenwood Sky Maid, Pache's, half sister, owned in partnership with brother Kevin Brown was pinned Reserve World Champion in the Basic Amateur Division with 80 horses competing in 160 rides.

This was Siri's first western dressage competition - probably not her last.

Congratulations to all involved, both horses and their owners, in this remarkable achievement.

This morning, I'd like to dedicate the following video specifically to my sisters who get up every morning to care for and love their beautiful horses.

Over the years, these horses, from Omar and Tiny to Manny, Dusty, Siri and Pache have not only provided Barbara and Laurie ongoing personal satisfaction and pride but also have served as stunningly beautiful instruments for inspiring countless other young people to achieve their own dreams.

The dedication also goes all other family members, friends and often unheralded individuals, whose ordinary and amazing efforts raise people up to experience their own unique and extraordinary moments.

In the midst of these times, awareness of  these bright lights will help us all to persevere and to keep dreaming.

Happy Sunday.
