Pups, Peeps on Pretty-Day Outing

In a nutshell, this was Debbie's family birthday party.

It occurred yesterday for a couple of hours in one of several walking areas near Bonners Ferry which we all love.

This one, the old Ball Creek Ranch, now Nature Conservancy, on the West Side Road a few miles up the Kootenai Valley from the Kootenai Wildlife Refuge, allows dogs to run free while their peeps walk a dike along the Kootenai River.

So, it was a perfect day and the perfect place for my sisters, Willie and Debbie, Bill and me AND Meggie, Jessie, Todd, Brooke and Joe to enjoy some time together.

Debbie's birthday is election day, but we also know that Willie will be into his second day of coaching, and, yes, it's election day.

So, why not do something we all love together and celebrate our beloved daughter-in-law.

Coach Love and his sidekick Todd.

Yesterday marked one of the last free days Willie will have for several months.

If all goes well and they stay healthy, SHS girls basketball players start their pre-season practice and try-outs today.

When basketball is in full motion, so is Willie.

Wishing you the best of luck, Willie, with this year's season.

GO, BULLDOGS!!!!

While we are on the subject of peeps and DOGS, the message below pretty much nails it for today's post and for tomorrow's election, if you haven't yet voted.

It's about the best criterion out there, except for maybe thinking about the candidate whom we would all trust to take care of America, the nation, and Americans, this nation's peeps,  for the next four years.

Happy Monday.
