This morning's lead-off features a very timely and urgent letter to the editor, which appeared in our local paper today.
Please read, and, more importantly, strongly encourage the doubters you know to read this message also.
Thank you, Dr. Dunn.
For your friends, family, and community, the need to urgently vaccinate all persons aged 12 and older is now. Don’t wait, vaccinate. Remember, friends don’t let friends spread COVID.
SCOTT DUNN, M.D.
My personal message to the "liberty lovers" among us, here's a little secret.
You may not have noticed, but pretty much all of us are liberty lovers.
Some of us are just quieter than those who like to monopolize the air waves and the meeting halls while others are simply living their lives, doing their best to serve their families, their communities and their country.
As each precious day of our lives goes by, some of us who've been "liberty lovers" for a long, long time and who cherish the opportunity to live and enjoy what lives we have left urge other "liberty lovers" to roll up their sleeves, show a little love, share a little liberty and get vaccinated.
The shots will set you and the rest of us free.
Some of us quiet "liberty lovers" have waited and waited and waited for the opportunity to once again realize the old saying "Good things happen to those who wait."
We're tired of waiting, we're frustrated with the drama, and we'd simply like to experience some "good things" aka lifetime goals before it's too late.
Do the right thing, think of others and, by doing so, regain some respect.
Thank you.
A 74-year-old liberty lover.
CB celebrated his fourth birthday the other day, and, yes, his celebration included standing in tall, green grass in our woods and eating to his heart's content.
Yesterday he received his second shoeing from my friend, farrier and "FILOSOPHER" John Fuller.
As usual, we talked and talked and talked while John removed shoes, trimmed feet and replaced CB's first set of shoes.
I learned yesterday that today John is celebrating his birthday, a milestone. I'll leave the guessing up to those who know and admire John.
Give him a call and wish him a great day. I know he'll appreciate your gestures.
Happy Birthday, John Fuller.
Your work with horses' feet over the years has been widely appreciated.
Have a great day.
Happy Tuesday to all.
