It was a busy, busy day around here yesterday BUT not hectic enough to stop for 15 minutes and stroll around our yard, in almost dreamlike fashion and in total awe of the beauty that Mother Nature, Robyn, Gretchen and a few others created in this place where we are so fortunate to live.
Mother Nature and the sun added the stunning color of the moment, but several years back, Robyn, a local landscaper and flower grower extraordinaire, and Gretchen, who once owned this farm, collaborated on the vision for a place now continually enhanced by seasonal magnificence.
Yesterday's brief period of breath-taking mid-morning sunshine showcased the magical work of Mother Nature and her human assistants at its very, very best.
Nothing more to say. It was OMG, WOW and all that packed into one memorable walk around the yard.
Thank you to all whose vision and creativity over the years led toward such a awesome interlude of extraordinary country beauty on a busy day.
I've said it before and will say it many times again that we are so blessed to live here.
In other news, Bill just announced that his next chip is gonna be a "Tayto." Don't know what that's supposed to mean.
Guess I'll find out soon.
Happy Tuesday.
