Saturday Slight

Happy Saturday.

So far, it's not raining. Annie is preparing to head off on a hike near Chilco with her cousin Laura and with Debbie.

They're hoping to stay dry but no guarantees.

There's also talk of impending snow.

If that's going to happen within the next day or so, I have a major "to do" list to attend to.

No complaints about the rain because we sorely needed it, but its frequency of late has put a damper on my winterizing progress.

Lots of flower beds and pots need work, and I need to get around the yard with the weed eater to chop down this year's generous growth of oregano.

Hopefully, I can make a dent on those projects before the next rainfall comes.

We, as a family, had a fun time last night, celebrating and enjoying Pepper.

This cute little kitty with a distinct personality is the new addition at Willie and Debbie's house.

In the past three weeks she has established herself as queen of the house and the dogs' new best friend.

Besides watching the ZAGS game, we enjoyed pizza, the trimmings and cakes celebrating Annie and Debbie's birthdays and Barbara and Laurie's success at Arabian Nationals.

You'll notice in the photos that we generally wore our masks.

Even though we're all vaccinated, some had been traveling, and we thought it wise to err on the side of caution when we all came together.

It was a fun evening of catching up and enjoying another ZAGS victory.

This morning I read the following a profile in the Sandpoint Reader about the new director of the Panida Theater.

She sounds like a high-energy, focused lady. Good luck to her as she takes on this challenging role.

Hope you enjoy the story.

Since it's the last day of Daylight Savings time, I'm headed off to make good use of the light.

Wishing a great day to all.

Debbie loves the Pioneer Woman story and her products.

Two levels of dinner with Todd dining from the top floor and Pepper from the bottom.
