Today is the rare day that’s likely to change the trajectory of the United States.

I think we can all fill in our own blanks on the statement above.
And, we'll certainly will all have our own perspective on whether the imminent trajectory change is good or bad.

It feels like the whole country is waiting to get the results of a biopsy.
---Jimmy Kimmel
Well, while waiting for those biopsy reports or election results or both, don't waste your life away.
Do your civic duty and vote today.
Then, do something today that will make you proud or happy or that will make someone else happy.
That way if your day doesn't turn out the way you wish, you, at the very least, will have accomplished something that made a positive difference for you or for somebody else.
That's a win.
We will all win on one topic today or tomorrow or whenever. Political commercials and the roadside signs will go away and the unwelcome telephone calls.
Interestingly enough, through this general election period, our landline phone has rarely rung from robo or political calls.
No complaints there.
Let's hope that when we wake up tomorrow, it's all over but the shouting AND that the shouting remains minimal.
We all deserve that.

For ZAGS fans, last night's Baylor-Gonzaga game couldn't have come at a better time.
The impressive win by the ZAGS has given us enough joy to temper some of the possible election-result disappointments.
Gonna be a great year to be a ZAGS fan.
Gonzaga’s dominant victory makes the Zags the big winner from the opening night of men’s college basketball.
