It's a Wrap; TBT

Twas an American Gothic kitchen staff at the Young Love's home yesterday.

Willie and Debbie prepared a wonderful meal of prime rib, ham, two different kinds of potatoes, green beans, etc.  Annie added to the menu by preparing "Grandma's dressing."

It was a tasty and delightful way to top off an equally wonderful Christmas day.

Lots of fun presents unwrapped, lots of sampling, some visiting, time spent looking over individual gifts and even some time to relax.

Couldn't have asked for a better Christmas even if it wasn't white.

The day after has already become white with about an inch of new snow on the ground and more falling.

We may take a little drive north today if the weather doesn't get too bad.

Below:  this brief from the Bonner County History Notes is significant in that Miss Willetta was one of my nurses when Willie was born.

CITY IN BRIEF

Miss Willetta [‘Willie’] Shields [later Mrs. Jim Chapman], who is taking nurses’ training in Spokane, visited with her mother, Mrs. L.R. Bourbon, from Friday until Wednesday.

That's all for today.  Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Happy Thursday.

Thursday Throwbacks, from my photo library.  I'm SO  thrilled to have those 100,000-plus photos back intact after the hard drive crash a couple of weeks ago.

💚💙💜💛

I've heard this song several times this year.

Even though Christmas is past, I love listening to it any time.

Enjoy.
