I like this photo. This gentleman, Ace Wischstadd of San Diego, announced at the Farragut reunion that he spent 22 months at Guadalcanal so that Americans could enjoy getting together and enjoy visiting like they do each year at the former Naval training-base-turned-state-park. He was very proud to participate in the reunion's color guard.
