Monday Miscellany

Grandma Tibbs had some fun being Grandma Tibbs yesterday when two granddaughters showed up for a vist. Laura, from Plummer, and Maureen, from Tacoma, were here for the weekend visiting a host of relatives from the Thompson family and from the Brown/Tibbs clan.

Grandma Tibbs also had some fun when she opened the mail Saturday and found a personal autograph to "Virginia from Mark Few: Go Zags!" Her grandson Willie had met Coach Few when he and his wife won the John Wooden Award at the Humanitarian Hall of Fame in Boise last week. Willie told the coach about his Grandma's enthusiastic ZAGS support, so that was worth the autograph.

The autographed page from the Humanitarian Hall of Fame gathering is now framed and seeing some pre-season action any time someone comes through the door at Grandma Tibbs' house. That's the first thing they're going to see.

Thank you, Coach Few. You made one of your fans very happy.
