Gotta love the nasty urshums. They seem especially pretty this year, at least for North Idaho.

We've got a long ways to go, though, to catch up with the Kiwis. One of my most memorable images of my trip to New Zealand in 2003 appeared along the road sides as the "nasty urshums" grew like trees.

I don't think we'll ever see that here, so I guess I'll have to go back to New Zealand some day.
