I spent another class hour with the SHS Model United Nations students yesterday. It was dress rehearsal for their International gala, planned for this Monday at the Talus Retreat Center. They'll be wearing apparel from countries of the world and serving delectables from the nations they represent.

It's a fundraiser but also an exercise in cultural immersion for the students.

I'll supply some information f you would like to donate to the cause for these students (they've received some substantial donations and they've worked all fall on fundraisers to earn the $36,000 needed to participate in a national Model United Nations Conference in New York and at the UN in March, 2009.
