For the right price, I'll identify Mr. X, standing next to Annie in this photo, snapped Saturday night just before the Seattle Sounders Soccer Match.

A busy weekend has ended and a much busier week and weekend lie ahead. So much is on the plate this week that I'll have to do a daily check to see what I should be doing, where I need to go and when.
For starters, there's a meeting at noon today with the Women Honoring Women, there's grass to mow, gardens to water, and grub to plan for when Willie comes home sometime later today. Oh yeah, a grocery store trip to Yoke's to get Mother's pills.
It will be like that all week long, and I don't think things will settle down until about mid-June. So, I must get on with the day.
Enjoy the pictures and the news: maybe it's more than I found in the newer, slimmer Spokesman this morning, where many of the stories seemed to be a snake-oil approach to why we readers are going to actually like getting less bang for our buck.
The big one is that the paper is easier to hold. I'm guessing they're figuring that most of their tried and true readers are oldsters with arthritis, so having a paper easier to hold is music to their ears.
Well, I don't have arthritis in my arms yet, but I still have a hefty appetite for a good newspaper read every morning, so I'm not buying the ploy. We're getting much less for more money. And, that's the truth. And, of course, it's easier to read cuz there's less stuff to read.
Oh well, I'll get on with the day sooner.
Happy Monday.

Looks like Drew Carey.
The price and your answer were right. Yup, without the glasses. He's a part owner in the Sounders.
I can't believe they want a dollar for about 5 minutes worth of reading. I guess we can start getting ready to bid farewell to the Spokesman.
