Tuesday Twitterdeedum

They're here . . . They came last night, jumped out of the car and took up where they left off a couple of months ago. Immediately four black and white bodies and one fat yellow one were racing and rolling around the front lawn.

No introduction needed this time for Todd and Brooke who rode in the car all the way from Boise to come and visit their friends and grandpeople. They're the grandpuppies, and we're happy to see them. Kea's not so sure she wants to share her house with them, but she'll get over it.

Oh yeah, Willie came too. He's upstairs with the pups, and they're still snoozing.

I raced around yesterday doing a hundred things, it seems----washing sheets, making beds, mowing lawn, watering, running errands, attending a meeting, cooking, writing checks for bills, finishing a story. The good part is that yesterday was nutso, so today should be relatively calm in comparison.

I hear 'em---they're up. Who said calm---well, maybe less regimented cuz when grandpuppies come, you don't stick to a fixed routine. You just go with the flow and with the licking and the running and the playing and the yelling at them to stay out of the garden and away from the horses.

This should be a fun week, especially on the weeken cuz Debbie will come from Boise and Annie from Seattle. The week is filled with to do's, including much needed hair zap time at Joyce's on Thursday, helping Laurie with her fifth graders for the annual "come to the farm and see the horses" day, having dinner at Western Pleasure while Bill tells some folks about Humbird Lumber Co., and maybe even having dinner with the kids.

We'll probably leave the grandpuppies home for the dinner dates. We'll probably have a few barbecues, too. Willie picked up those steaks and some burger patties from Costco, so we're good to go.

Can ya tell I'm excited. It's fun having kids and grandpuppies home and it's especially fun when the weather's nice.

I guess that's all for Tuesday Twitterdeedum. The pups are out there doing their business, so I'll wrap up here and begin the day as a grandpeoplemama.

Happy Tuesday
