What else is there to say today in Idaho?

GO BRONCOS!

It's Fiesta Bowl Day, so Bill and I decided to show off our Christmas presents.

Actually the item on the television set was sitting there the last time Boise State played in the Fiesta Bowl.

And, the celebration was heard 'round the nation as the Broncos beat the Sooners of Oklahoma in what has often been touted by bigtime sports commentators as one of the top five most exciting bowl games ever.

Now, Rob Akey pulled off another last week when he made the gutsy call that allowed his Idaho Vandals to win by one point in the Humanitarian Bowl.

I was upstairs watching and working at the computer, while the rest of the crowd was downstairs during that game.

The entire house rumbled when the Vandals clinched the win in the last seconds.

Let's hope we're in for another thriller today when Boise State meets Texas Christian University.

Let's make it two Fiesta Bowls for the Broncos and two bowl victories for our Idaho football teams.

As a Vandal grad and mother/mother-in-law to three Bronco grads, I'm excited.
