A talented couple: Mel and Mary Ann Nail stand at their picnic table.
Mel brought over to his Bonners Ferry-area home from Montana. He found the legs at a salvage pit.
Mel is a retired fish and game refuge-area manager. The Nails lived at game refuges throughout the Western United States before moving to Bonners Ferry. They say that if they move again, the picnic table probably won't go with them.
I saw signs of unbelievable creativity and appreciation for the past on virtually every step of my visit to their place yesterday.
It was a treat to meet them and view their handiwork.
Special Note:
Annie sent me the link below this morning.
Bomshel, a country music duo which includes Sandpoint's own Kristy Osmunson is up for Top New Country Duo.
The link takes you to where you can vote; only one vote per computer, so if you like country and have heard Bomshel, cast your vote and spread the word. If it sends you to a different page, look at the top banner and click on "fan voting."
