Saturday Slightly Fun Party

We’re halfway through the birthday weekend of celebrating our Mother’s 90th.  So far, it’s been magical and memorable.  Mother’s day yesterday went about as perfectly as she or anyone else could have wished.

She looked beautiful.  She smiled almost every minute of the day, and she was surrounded by many of her friends and family who love and admire her.

She received gifts and notes from folks unable to come, and folks who came to her reception had a wonderful time visiting with her and with each other.

Her cake included a sketch Mother did in 1990 as part of her notecard collection.

Today we move on with more weekend festivities, including a family hike (no, Mother will pass on this one).  We’ll all get together this evening for dinner and a special carriage ride for Mother.

Western Pleasure Guest Ranch is one of her most fun places to go, so it should be another phenomenal experience in this grand celebration.

With that, I’ll call it a day and just post some photos from yesterday’s festivities.

Happy Saturday.
