A Festive Gathering . . . .

I was honored to be among the guests at a very special brunch yesterday.  The gathering fulfilled several goals.  

First and foremost, its purpose was to honor Suzanne Huguenin who, next month, will marry Sean Haynes.  Both are former students, and, of course, I'm proud of both of them as they lead productive lives right here in Sandpoint.  

Suzanne is an RN at Bonner General Hospital, while Sean works as a talented graphic artist and computer guru. 

I can vouch for the fact that the word "nice" would not suffice for the depth and quality of their inner souls.  Very special people, indeed. 

The gathering also put together a cross section of folks and old friends who have known the couple since they were toddlers.  

That means most of us knew each other, and, in many cases, for a long, long time.

Suzanne was one of my photography students back in the early 1990s, so I felt the responsibility to take a few photos.  

After all, photographers are too often behind the camera. 

So, do enjoy the images from a lovely and fun party honoring a wonderful Sandpoint couple.
