Stayin' in Vegas but Sharing . . . .
Twas a year ago this month that I went to Denver and decided Bill needed to experience a GeoCoinfest.
It's a gathering of geocachers, geocoin vendors and a whole of everything dealing with the fastest growing sport people are starting to hear of.
That's Annie's personal collection of geocoins from around the world, and I'm sure she'll keep adding to it.
At Christmas time, Bill received a cache container, some crisp $100 bills, a geocoin and an Internet info sheet about GeoCoinfest 2013 Las Vegas.

The link will tell you what you need to know, just in case you want to add a fun event to your weekend schedule.
We're taking off today and will meet Annie Thursday afternoon in Sin City, and I can pretty much guarantee that what we do in Las Vegas will be printable.
So, I'll be sharing.
I don't know if Bill's more excited about GeoCoinfest or visiting the famous Las Vegas pawn shop, which he follows on TV.
Whatever the case, I'm sure we'll have a great time----once I get rid of the crud. Like so many people I know, I've spent much of the past three days in a relationship with Airborne by day and Vicks by night. An occasional Advil has helped out too.
Nice that we're driving so I can be a slug in the car and sneeze to my heart's content. After all, Bill brought it home, so he's a couple of days ahead of me on the cold countdown.
We'll be staying right across from Bellagio on the strip, so I'm thinking Bill, the classical music lover, is gonna love the fountain shows.
And, yes, I've got some bags of quarters, one for each day that we're there. When they're gone, I'm done. My strategy with gambling is to never go away losing more than I bring to the table.
So far, my record is pretty good, give or take a dollar or two. So far, my biggest lifetime win is something like $18.
Anyway, fun times ahead.
I'll be posting from the road while my brother Jim keeps track of the critters here at the Lovestead. It's always hard to leave them, but I know they'll be in good hands.
Stay tuned!
