Go 'Hawks

Dunno who the others are, but I sure do recognize Annie with the two thumbs up.

It's kinda hard to think of much else today besides the BIG GAME, which, we hope, leads to the even bigger game.

Looking ahead is fun today as is looking back on yesterday----a nail-biting but satisfying ZAGS victory, putting them 16-3.

And, BLUE STREAK.  What a concert they put on last night at the Panida.

After listening to some talented Sandpoint High School boys playing acoustic guitars and singing mostly original songs and thinking of those national talent shows and how they ought to give it a try-------we did not sit back and enjoy the main show.

We stomped our feet or kept to a lively beat however we could throughout the performance as the blue grass band from Spokane but including Sandpoint's Doug Bond revved up the audience with their mandolins, fiddle, banjo, guitar and base.

Phenomenal concert and great humor from the mandolin play aka veterinarian. I think the full house went away feeling like they got their money's worth and more.

And, POAC must have added a substantial sum to its coffers, as the concert was a benefit and lots of raffle tickets on nice prizes were sold.

I hope BLUE STREAK comes back for some more appearances in Sandpoint.  Maybe somebody needs to tell the folks running the fair.  Hmmm.  Maybe I will.

Anyway, yesterday was a great day, and we're looking forward to another today enjoying food, watching those Seahawks, seeing if we can spot Annie in that wild crowd and cheering at the end cuz the SEAHAWKS ARE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!

We hope so, anyway.

Happy Sunday.
