Saturday Slight

I had that feathery tickle all through my walk this morning, which, by the way, involved no stepping over to the side of the road for vehicle traffic.  Not one car today.

Folks must be snoozin' overtime on this quiet Saturday.

The feathery tickle was NOT the the usual dreaded feathery tickle, indicating the onset of a cold.  No, this one was on my nose, and it just kept tickling for almost two miles of walking.

That's cuz light flakes of snow kept coming down all through the walk and brushing lightly against my nose.

My upper clothes were mostly white by the time I made it back home, but it looks like the snow as stopped and the CHEEEEEEZEburger birds are starting to carry on their conversations for the day.

Not a lot on the mind this morning, except learning on Facebook last night that Foster's father (well, this is a bit of a stretch) is going to the Super Bowl next week.

Annie's friend, Raine,  could be called Foster's father because he nurtured him during his young pup days before giving him to us.

As Bill said last night, there's always a Sandpoint connection, and, yes, it is stretching it just a bit also to say that someone who stayed at our house in Sandpoint is going to the Super Bowl.

We also have the Seahawks cheerleader from Sandpoint as well as lots of fashionable team-related clothes traveling to the big game next Sunday.

Yes, according to last night's KREM news, Elizabeth Turley, the head honcho for Meesh and Mia, which is located, as the bird flies about three miles south of our house, will be at the Super Bowl, introducing and, no doubt, wearing her product.

About Us

aboutusbanner11.jpg
It all started at a football game. Looking around a tailgate filled with colorful tee shirts and sweatshirts, baseball caps, foam fingers and face paint. A tradition loved, some would say worshiped, by so many. But something was missing. There were women all around…but no women’s clothing?! Once it was noticed it could not be ignored…and the Meesh & Mia movement began.
Meesh & Mia has started a female fanwear revolution by taking today’s latest fashion trends and combining them with your favorite school colors and logos. We provide a unique, fashion forward approach to University apparel whether you’re looking for something to wear to the game, to work…anywhere! Providing looks for the diehard fanatic or the closet enthusiast our styles are available with or without school logos, so you can choose whether you want to show your school pride loud and proud, or a little more subtle with just some game day colors!

So, maybe some of you have Meesh and Mia clothing hanging in your closet, but possibly you didn't know that it had its roots right here in Sandpoint, ID., just like some of those beautiful Clydesdales in the Budweiser ads.

Hmmm.  Sandpoint sounds like it's getting kinda hip with all these cool connections to the Super Bowl.

So, does that mean our lovely little pup Foster is hip too?

Well, he's always been hip, but maybe we're going to have to see if there's a Meesh and Mia for dogs so we can find him some appropriate Seahawks mini Aussie garb to wear while he's cheering on the Seahawks and searching the audience for his Foster Father Raine.

If anyone knows of such an outlet, contact me, and I'll get right on dressing Foster fashionably for next week's game.

Maybe I need to head right on down to Meesh and Mia's there in Kootenai and see if they have something for Foster.  Maybe I'm on to a new product which they might consider. After all, people's pets are often more important than their peeps.

If I'm successful at securing an outfit for the little guy, you can count of a Foster Foto on Game Day.

For now, this is GAME DAY for the ZAGS, and they've got a tough match-up tonight with Brigham Young University.  I've got my garb on, even if it isn't quite as "suave" as the Meesh and Mia variety.

It's just a plain ol' ZAGS sweatshirt, and I'll wear it proudly all day in hopes of a good outcome tonight.  GO ZAGS!

My sister has her own tack business, she made a seahawk collar for her daughters dachshund. You could contact her to see if she could make one for Foster's measurements. http://www.primedesigntack.com/ or search PrimeDesign on Facebook.
