Rebounding and Pretty Stuff

Twas a short night last night after another disappointing end to a later-than-ever late basketball game.

ZAGS have hit slumpdom.

We all do from time to time.  We all have high expectations, as do they. So, when stuff falls short, it's not easy to swallow.

The silver lining in the ZAGS' dark cloud is that they're not alone.

Syracuse, the No. 1 team in the nation, also lost twice this week, so that's a bit consoling.

Plus, Coach Mark Few kept his jacket on when his ZAGS were down at game's end.

I have no doubt there will be some deep soul searching, sorta like what happened with Tony Bennett's Virginia team one night a couple of months ago after a terrible loss.

A member of the team showed up at Coach Bennett's doorstep and asked, "What can we do?"
Apparently, they found the answer because Virginia is now a team on the rise.  We all reach moments in life when the same ol' stuff just doesn't work anymore.

So, as with life, the ZAGS will probably step back, take a breath and set off on a slight detour to their normal routine.   They'll surely rebound through this adversity of late, but through it all, we'll stick with them cuz they bring us so much joy, and, after all, that's what fans are for, right?  GO ZAGS!

In the meantime there is still beauty in the world as the February and, hopefully winter move toward a finale.  Enjoy the photos!  Happy Sunday.
