Thursday This, That and THIRTEEN! Oh My!

Adorable TRIPLETS (Grace, Justine and Jacob) doing tractor time.

Angelic, enterprising TRIPLETS with dewberry pickin's.
"Peek-a-boo . . . I see you!" TRIPLETS at the county fair.

Semi-crazy, gettin' "cool" TRIPLETS, acting silly with their mom.

My niece Laura came by for a brief visit yesterday.  She had been pretty busy over the past two days, flying to and from Seattle the day before for a meeting, driving to Bonners Ferry that night, attending a another meeting all morning, stopping by our house and then heading on to Plummer where she would be teaching a class at 4:30 p.m.

Busy lady.

Laura and her husband Sefo will be enjoying a very special day today as they celebrate (maybe) being the parents of three teens.

Yup, the triplets, Jacob, Justine and Grace, turned 13 today.  Hard to believe where the time has gone, but they’re well on their way to eyeing their future as adults.  All are good students, and all have varied interests.

It’s been fun watching them grow up and documenting through photography fun moments along their journey.

This morning’s assortment includes some from a collection taken by Annie last September at my sisters’ farm.

Happy Birthday, Triplets!

The other photos were taken yesterday after Laura went on her way.  Bill came home, gathered his geocaching items, and we headed to the Wyman Wildlife Preserve where he wanted to place a couple of caches.

He really wasn’t as mad as his expression appears when I clicked the photo.  Actually, he’s quite happy about that particular cache because within minutes of his registering it on the www.geocaching.com  website, it had already been approved and published.

So, if there are any avid geocachers out there reading, take note that two brand new caches can be found at the Wyman property.

Besides placing the cache project, we just enjoyed walking one of the trails which we had not taken during our previous visits.  The pond was alive with sounds of geese, ducks and frogs.  Spring has definitely sprung at the Preserve which also doubles as a fabulous place for horseback riding.

With another nice day in store, I have a feeling some grass will get cut this afternoon.  Tony, the lawnmower maintenance guru, will be bringing a new deck for my new mower from last year.  Part of the frame broke late in the season, and Tony said that should not have happened.

It was on warranty, so the replacement comes free but not the new blades and the oil change.  Once Tony's  finished with all the fix-its, I’ll be ready to go for another year of mowing, mowing, mowing.  Looks to be a longer season this year with the early grass growth.

Busy day ahead.  Happy Thursday.

Aw, thank you for great photo memories! I'd forgotten about our dewberry picking adventures! Trips are lucky to have awesome great aunties in their life. :) LL
