It's a "Precious" Day

Precious, Annie, Mia-----your dad and I love you so much.

On this, your special day, we wish you the best as we do every day of your life.

We are so proud of you.

When you were an infant, a friend observed a special radiance/aura about you.

A few years later, when you stayed for a few days with your aunt Mary while Mom was off to a conference, Mary shared a fascinating observation.

She creates scenarios, Mary said, and follows through on them.

Pretty astute observation, I'd say, considering all the incredible, awe-inspiring scenarios you've achieved up to this point.

Your Grandma Tibbs was always amazed with you as a taskmaster and with how fast you comprehended and tore into whatever needed to be done.

That child could make change and ran a concession stand pretty much on her own, Mother would brag.   I think you were 9 at the time.

You continue to amaze and inspire us and so many others as you travel through your adventure-filled life's journey.

Never a dull moment.  Admittedly, intense moments at times!

You care deeply. You work hard. You play even harder, and you take so many of us along for the ride.  We like that!

It's all part of the mix we lovingly know as Annie, our Precious.

May you hold fast to that special aura, continue plotting out those amazing scenarios and, heck, even run another concession stand with your incredible efficiency.

Happy Birthday to one fine daughter.  Enjoy your day.

Love,

Mom and Dad Love
