Sweetness and Soured on Snow

There seems to be a prevailing notion around the area.

Enough!

People are getting itchy for spring and damn tired of snow.

Sadly, more is on the way.

At least today, we've received a respite from having to plow.

And, believe me, there was plenty to plow or blow or shovel after Friday night's dump of fluff.

As beautiful as the countryside was yesterday, I did not want to take

 ANY MORE SNOW PICTURES.

But, I did.

It was another day of stunning beauty outside, and once the Lovestead was cleaned out yet another time, taking pictures was something to do on trips to and from town and in between basketball games.

Meanwhile, Bill said it already feels like March Madness cuz he watched games off and on for 12 hours straight.

Bill's newest comment of the day:  I'll be here.

Fortunately, he does have flies to tie, and the basketball games do help when you're stuck inside.

And, for all of us ZAGfest gatherers, the grand finale of the day-long game marathon was just that:  grand!

Tomorrow Gonzaga should once again be ranked No. 1 nationwide after their resounding senior night victory over BYU.

Twas fun watching the players turn downright giddy as they sensed a sweet, sweet victory in the final moments.

There's more to come, but last night's win was sweet in so many ways, especially for those who remember a few years ago when BYU handed the ZAGS their first defeat of a perfect season on Senior Night IN THE KENNEL.

I think that BYU loss was probably on their minds as they played at the usual high level.

This time---a win and not a perfect record---but definitely something special in this very special season for ZAGS and their worldwide fan base.

Yes, it's a great day this morning to be a ZAGS fan.

Also, for Bill and for all who know that we are sentenced to more winter days to come, we are blessed that the ZAGS have more goals to reach as they finish up the league schedule, play in the WCC tournament and hopefully maintain that No. 1 ranking clear to the end of March Madness.

By that time, we should be saying good bye to snow.

Happy Sunday.
