Between the Showers

It's a scurrying sort of morning.

I can hear Bill downstairs strapping up his therapeutic boot.

He'll be headed out the door soon to report for jury duty.

With luck today is his last full day on crutches/knee roller.

At this time tomorrow, he gets the verdict from Dr. Fisher with hopes that it sets him free with no more time to serve as Rehab Man.

Tomorrow will be another scurrying day for Bill cuz he'll be headed to jury duty once again.

So, his sentence of semi-restrictions won't end completely until April ends.

Shortly after Bill leaves, I'll be gathering up my camera and some extras and praying that the rain will stop for just a bit.

The plan is to take an outdoor photo of four fine people and that raindrops won't be dripping down their faces.

The location offers a few escapes from the rain, so fingers are crossed.

Yesterday, when it was supposed to rain, we were spared.

Twas fun driving around the Kootenai Valley yesterday and then doing a lifetime "firstie."

I had driven past Blue Lake Campground near Naples throughout my entire life and had never turned in to see the place.

Seems like this is a time in life when you know your years are limited and you'd better satisfy curiosities which in younger years were left for another day.

So, I've been trying to do just that as often as possible.

I was pleasantly surprised at how extensive the campground is and that it has a parked out area on its west side with Adirondack cabins.

Truly a lovely place, and I'm told by the owner Heidi, not that hard to reserve in the fall months.  Plus, overnight stays are pretty reasonable for RV's.

Anyway, one more curiosity satisfied and a pleasant result at that.

Happy Tuesday.

BTW:  Annie's still having a wonderful time in Vietnam.  Will post more photos from her adventure tomorrow.
