Well, we're not quite ready for the "hereafter," but Bill and I are more than ready to once again enjoy our own little bit of Heaven on Earth. 

People often ask, "Do you have relatives in Ireland?"

None living but definitely some family history and lifelong pride in being Irish. 

Anyone who has ever visited Ireland needs no convincing that it is, indeed, a magical and special place.  

Many will also agree that it truly is "Heaven on Earth," because of its natural beauty and its wonderful people. 

We will be going back again because we just can't quite get enough of this place and the wonderful people we have met at our various stops and whom we consider good friends. 

Before that happens, though, we'll endure the long hours in airports and in airplane seats. 

At the end of it all, however, awaits that beautiful Emerald Island and all of its many wonders. 

The simple thought of the joy we'll feel to once again set foot on Irish soil makes every miserable moment of sitting in those seats and trying to sleep worth it.

Soon, we'll be on the other side of the pond and hitting the road north from Dublin.
