It was a day of "cuteness duplicated" at my sisters' home yesterday.
Barbara picked up her new little best friend named Remi. He's a heeler who was born in Athol.
Remi met the little princess of the house, Miss Callie, and the puppies did what puppies do, played, slept and attended to their duty.
Fun times ahead for my sisters as they have added two adorable bundles of joy to their family.
The joy in "Mudville" got a bit tempered last night as the Lakeland Hawks defeated Sandpoint's girls varsity basketball team.
That means one win for Sandpoint and one for Lakeland in a best two out of three contest, determining who gets to travel on to State.
The teams will go at it again tonight at 6 p.m. in Les Rogers Gym, and, of course, we're hoping the Bulldogs bounce back.
It was almost a full house last night, and it would be great to see that repeated tonight. Thanks to all who came out to support the team.
Tonight is the last time some team members will play in their home gym. So, it's a perfect night to go watch a home basketball game. Come, and bring a friend.
I also really hope we'll see a repeat of the "National Anthem" from last night's game.
I did not catch his name, but the Sandpoint band has a phenomenal saxophone player who thrilled the audience with his stirring and beautiful rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner."
In spite of the final score, I think fans enjoyed the electricity and spirit and reconnecting that comes with a big game like last night's.
It was neat to see the support and enthusiasm.
Hope you enjoy the following images of last night's game.
We all hope for a much better ending when the Bulldogs take on Lakeland tonight.
GO, BULLDOGS!
Big Game for the ZAGS in Kentucky today.
