Dancing and Down Under

Supposedly, "Foster's" is the largest selling Australian brand of beer in the world.

Also, we'veoften been told that "Foster" is Australian for "beer."

Whatever the case, our little Foster has his Australian roots (mini Aussie), and now his best friend Annie is in Australia.

I do know that she has already sampled the beer.

And, she's probably sleeping now; as I write it's 1:16 a.m. March 23 in Australia.

Annie lost the entire day of March 21 on her flight down under.

Her adventures will begin soon, so stay tuned.

East Coast of Australia.

For anyone unaware, Annie is known by many as the flipflop queen.

And now, once again, it's

GAMES DAY.

🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀

March Madness continues with the second full day of match-ups in the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Last night I read that just over one percent of the brackets filled out by millions are still perfect. That was before the last final buzzer had gone off, so maybe it's even less fewer now.

Mine suffered severe damage when BYU and Kentucky lost, but I'm still hanging in there with some 89-percenter brackets.

There was no damage whatsoever to our spirits with last night's two wins by Inland Northwest teams.  The ZAGS won, as did the WSU Cougars.

And, then, yet another family conundrum unfolded.

A few years ago I sent my dear friend Mow a ZAGS baseball cap.  She's an enthusiastic ZAGS fan,

BUT

she's also a graduate of the University of Kansas aka KU, home of the Jayhawks.

Kansas won last night, and whom will they play?

Gonzaga

So two game days in a row for the ZAGS we have a member of the inner circle who's torn between two great teams.

Bill survived the McNeese defeat last night, and his true ZAGS fan colors showed through when he didn't want me to turn the channel to watch the ending of the Kentucky game.

He wanted to enjoy every minute of the ZAGS game.

So, we'll all respect everyone's alliances, and, of course, I'm not torn in the least----a ZAGS fan to the end, and it's okay for Mow to cheer on the Jayhawks.

We do what we have to do.

The main objective: that we still have fun through all this college basketball insanity.

Meanwhile, Bridie keeps watch out her window and the 'maters are doing just fine out there in the greenhouse.

That's my friend, neighbor and dentist, Dr. Greg Prins in the photo below.

While I spent last night's ZAGS halftime outside walking the road, Greg came by and stopped for a short visit.

He was nice enough not to mention that he hadn't seen me in the dentist's chair for a while.

Good Greg!

I sent the video below to Annie so she could listen once her plane touched down in Sydney yesterday.

It's so beautiful and definitely worth sharing.

Enjoy.

Happy Friday.
