Here Comes the Sun, Fun

Our arms are sore this morning.
We're disappointed about the double-loss day for ZAGS men and women basketball players.

AND . . .

. . . there's new brand new snow on the ground.

BUT . . .

. . . unless there's the BIG LIE in the upcoming weather forecast, the soreness from our Covid boosters, the sting from the ZAGS losses and the new snow will quickly become memories.

We're looking toward good times ahead with the sun coming and hanging around for at least a week.

We're also excited about major plans for the rest of the year.

In a few days we'll be following Annie's travels to Australia where she'll be hiking and geocaching in the same country where the movie classic The Man from Snowy River was filmed.

One of these days soon,  Bill will go to town and pick out his new barbecue grill, and we'll start having dinners from the deck.

I'll be tending to my garden starts in the greenhouse instead of the house.

And, the paint brush will come out to dress up the fences and other lawn accessories.

My horses will come home at the end of the month. More work, yes, but it will be nice to have them around to enjoy---even if that's just watching them show off in the fields.

Speaking of horses, there are also horse shows coming to the area in the months ahead.

For the first time ever, the Emerald Empire Arabian Horse Club is bringing a breed and open horse show to Sandpoint in September.

I also signed on yesterday with show manager Moriha Yetter to announce this year's Spots of Fun Open Horse Show the weekend of July 13-14

It's always a fun show, which has been held every year in Sandpoint for nearly 40 years.

Information about these shows and others will continue to unfold on Facebook.

🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀

Before all that begins, there is still March Madness, starting next week, and, yes, both the Gonzaga men and women will be playing in the tournament.

So, Selection Sunday on this year's St. Patrick's celebration will be fun to watch.

Then, the next day comes bracketology for the men's and women's tournaments.

We always love to make our guesses on at least three copies.  The past couple of years my brackets have been ruined by the first day of the tournament.

Anywho, lots of fun times ahead, once this snow melts and that big sun starts shining.

Fun time of the year.

Happy Wednesday.
