I was so excited when I saw this solar globe all lit up last night that I ran to get my camera.
It's been mostly covered with snow for the winter, and my trips outside after dark have been few and far between throughout the winter.
With a springlike temps, I went for a short walk after dark, and there was the globe in all its glory.
Bill's sister Margaret gave us a gift certificate for our 50th last year, which opened the way for the globe to come and reside at our home.
It was "lawn chair in the sun" time yesterday.
I was doing some yard clean-up and managed to push the barn door open so I could get the lawn cart.
There sat the chair, not far inside the door.
Outside, the sun was shining.
My old knees had already told me it was time to sit down and take a break, so I did.
The lawn chair will remain there from now on because I've noticed at this age, while doing yard work, breaks are nice, and it's good to have a chair available to do just that.
As I sat soaking up the sun, both dogs came to join me.
We all enjoyed a few minutes of endorphins.
It's just an iced-over mud puddle, proving there is beauty in everything if we just look.

Foster will be a very happy dog for the next few days.
One of the greatest memories ever in Ireland.
We were walking down a wet country road, turned around and saw these horses behind us. Then, we met Oliver who showed us the inside of an abandoned farm house.

I miss the lady on the right. She was a classmate and friend.
Fortunately, her daughter lives in the neighborhood so reminders of Andrea arise every time I see Kris.
