My friend Helen told me that I needed to enjoy a bowl of ice cream and watch college basketball after undergoing a "procedure" at Bonner General Hospital yesterday.
One more in the ongoing sets of tests, trying to figure out my gut problems.
At least, after all the tests so far, I know what I don't have, and that's good news.
SO ice cream seemed like a good idea after two days without food. And, it hit the spot.
As did my attending nurse Spencer who saw to it that I could watch March Madness while waiting.
Spencer played basketball at Sandpoint High, so he was pretty keen on the importance of addicts, especially bracket addicts, getting to watch their games.
Thank you, Spencer.

And, thank you, Houston coach Kelvin Sampson.
It's time these highly paid reporters and commentators go back to school and learn the journalism basics, especially about names and how to spell them and pronounce them correctly.
It's takes a great coach who knows the Inland Northwest and who likes to do things right to set 'em straight.
Good luck today, Kelvin BUT GO, ZAGS!
The map of college teams is still colorful, even though down to 32.
Two more days of TV fun as the remaining 32 start their second round of games, with the ultimate goal of making it to the SWEET SIXTEEN later next week and in different venues around the country.
Here at the Lovestead we'll be watching and paying close attention to the McNeese-Purdue game which tips off at 9:10 PDT on CBS.
Good luck to the Cowboys and good luck later to the ZAGS. They have a tough game against Kelvin Sampson's Houston Cougars today.
Wouldn't it be neat if both the ZAGS and McNeese win and then get to play each other!
GO, COWBOYS!!
And that's all for today.
Perfectly bad, snowy weather for having to stay inside and watch basketball.
More snow coming on this third day of spring.
