Life is back to a somewhat normal routine this morning. Don't know how long that will last cuz "normal" seems hard to define with our daily lives at times.
I'm starting out Monday with no plans (YAY) except to catch up on weeds, grass, watering, horses, maybe some painting, etc.
We enjoyed a nice breakfast get together with Willie and Debbie yesterday.
Willie took his boys basketball team to a Gonzaga camp last week. It was a Gonzaga camp at Whitworth.
And, the camp provided a nice boost for the Bulldogs, as they won five games, some by huge scores.
In two weeks' time, the Bulldogs have taken seven victories in summer league.
Could be an exciting season this winter.

We have a new feature here at the Lovestead after Annie's weekend visit. Surely, it will add a distraction or two.
It's an early birthday present, which had to be opened while Annie was here so she could set it up.
Basically, it's a bird feeder with a camera. So far, two juncos (one yesterday and one this morning) have landed on the platform where the camera could capture them.
I also have lots of pictures of Bill and the lawnmower and Bridie and even myself when I stopped mowing for a few minutes.
Every time there's motion in front of the bird feeder, my iphone lets me know. So, I've had a lot of notifications since yesterday but only two birds.
I have a feeling the squirrels visiting the feeder may outnumber the birds for a while. Annie used some duct tape to the chair where the feeder sits temporarily.
Bill has the assignment to find a permanent place for the feeder and its solar panels which can keep the battery charged.
This should be a fun toy, especially during long winter days.
Walking past this sidewalk display on Saturday while in downtown gave me an idea.
We have a canoe that has sat out in the hay field shelter for almost 19 years.
It's no longer usable BUT with a little dirt and some posies, it could add a nice touch to our yard art.
The peonies have started blooming, and they are a lovely sight.
You can see a portion of my makeshift fence which I'm hoping will keep the deer from destroying my plants.
I finished the fence on Friday. It's definitely makeshift with netting, woven wire and chicken wire, but so far, it has worked.
Another area out behind the barn has several dozen potatoes, so I'll probably be doing some fencing there too.
So far, the deer haven't noticed those potatoes, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
