Saturday Slight

It was more magical than we could ever imagine.

Last night's introduction to our Sandpoint High School 60th-Year Reunion was upbeat, fun and very successful.

As each face from our collective past entered the Elks Club door, excitement heightened with hugs, shrieks and immediate conversation.

Classmates and their guests filled the room and visited for nearly three hours.

I made a discovery last night while flitting around taking pictures.

Reunion spouses/guests now have a new diversion for time spent at the gatherings---their cell phones.

I saw several settle into sitting by themselves at a table, entertaining themselves with their phones. They seemed happy.

There was hardly enough time for visiting so we'll go at it again this afternoon at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch, where we'll spend time outside listening to '60s tunes from Mike Rosenberger's 1965 Dodge Coronet convertible.

Then we'll go into the lodge to enjoy a nice steak dinner and deal with miscellaneous items on a program.

All fun so far and more fun to enjoy today.

Happy Saturday.

Rick is both a spouse and a classmate, so his phone came in handy.

Can ya tell he's also a ZAGS fan?
