Gettin' Hitched Kubota Style

We here at the Lovestead highly approved of the mode of transportation chosen by Libby Stockdale and her dad Doug for their grand entrance to Libby's wedding last night.

Cuz we think our Kubota is sexy too.

Doug's new tractor was spit-shined and ready to do the honors at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch where Libby and her fiancee Isaac Schoonover became husband and wife in a gorgeous setting.

Guests sat on hay bales with bandannas inscribed with Libby and Isaac's names serving as favors.

Men in the wedding party wore jeans and short-sleeved Western shirts, big belt buckles and boots.

Women wore beautiful, elegant dresses and carried sunflower bouquets. The bridal attendants walked into the ceremony in their cowboy boots.

The ceremony was short, simple but very appropriate.  When it ended, the newly-married couple marched down the grass aisle and climbed into the Kubota for a short celebratory drive.

Isaac will probably tell you that driving a tractor with a bride in one's lap is a bit challenging, but nobody cared.

Everyone--young and old--seemed to be enjoying themselves throughout the festivities:  a laid-back, warm, friendly gathering with hundreds of faces, happy to be there to help the young couple begin their lives together.

If all goes well, I'll post a few more photos.
