Sunday Briefs
Great seeing five of my Waltho cousins, who grew up in Ephrata, at Schweitzer Mountain Resort yesterday. Also, great seeing Bob, Bernie and Jim who were up picking huckleberries and later enjoying their burgers.
Thanks for the blessing, Bob. I needed that!
Later, I told my sisters that it was good there are only three of us. When five sisters show up at the same time, they all have something to say.
So, we agreed early on, as we enjoyed lunch at Chimney Rock Restaurant, that our "quality" conversations would come when we all get together again at the cousins' reunion late next month.
For yesterday, snippets of this and snippets of that would work just fine.
Twas a fun get together, complete with lots of photos, which I'll post tomorrow.
In the meantime, we're hanging out at our travel trailers at a place not far from home and are back and forth taking care of doggies.
Eight dogs and six people spent the night camping out (well, some of us in our trailers), and we all survived. Happily, the dogs did too.
The dogs got to go because it was National Dog Day, after all.
The people played referee a few times during the activities, but no injuries to report this morning.
Gonna be a fun day ahead.
As promised, photos tomorrow.
Happy Sunday.
