Fun and Faces at Hodgepodge at the Lodge

How can you not love Hodgepodge at the Lodge when you see your heart-warming table favors????

It's a fun and phenomenal event put on each August by the staff, volunteers and board members of Panhandle Animal Shelter.  

There's a PETpourri of lovely features once luncheon goers arrive at the Lodge at Sandpoint on the south end of the Long Bridge.  

Mingling with other animal lovers, many of whom help support the Shelter, strolling along the water's edge to see what's available in the silent auction, listening to local talent,  enjoying hors d'oeurves and beverages, sitting at beautifully decorated tables with friends----it's all great.

And, while enjoying lunch, the visiting and the view, you can raise your hand while the auctioneer is summoning sums of money for live auction items, such as cords of wood, lake cruises, getaways or candlelight dinners. 

It's all for a cause dear to every pet owner's heart, and Hodgepodge at the Lodge serves as a memorable and colorful event to make sure that every pup or kitty receives the best attention in its time of dire need.
