I want to watch the funeral of Sen. John McCain, so today's blog will be brief.
It is important in these times to cling to the reminders of true American patriotism, decency, principles, civility and respect.
I think the Senator's memorial service today will be a much-needed reminder of what makes us proud to be Americans.
And, so, ever so briefly, Annie is home for a few days, the dogs are thrilled,
Emma has sampled "convenience-store" goodies, including tater skins.
The creatures of the earth are moving---in fact, bear sightings less than a mile away and cougar sightings just beyond that have kept the neighborhood vigilant.
A busy day lies ahead, but I'm off to sit in front of the TV to participate in the good bye ceremony for Sen. McCain.
