Fourth of July 2019 is now in the books. Oh, what a day it was here at the Lovestead and the surrounding area.
Some watched the parade.
Some rode in the parade.
Some went to visit next-door neighbors at the Meserve
Preserve where oodles of family and their friends engaged in feasting, target
practice and, of course, a spectacular fireworks show.
Some stayed home and prepared for the feast.
Some went hiking.
Toward the end of the day, many gathered here at the
Lovestead for feasting and fun.
Some were treated to the barnyard circus, and others played
ball with the doggies.
Heck, we even watched some partake in a wrestling match on
the front lawn.
Even after that, some headed off to watch fireworks.
Twas a wonderful day to celebrate family, friends, food and,
as always, the personal freedoms, our good fortunes and continued happiness envisioned by the “Declaration of
Independence.”
I’m feeling confident in saying that a good time was had by
all.
Happy Friday.
