I met Jack yesterday on our dirt road.
He's two weeks old.
Pretty much what Jack knows right now is bliss and love.
Let's hope it stays that way.
Jack deserves a better world.

After meeting Jack, Bill and I drove on to McArthur Lake and the Wyman Wildlife Preserve near Naples, Idaho.
We stopped for photos.
Bill stopped to check on some geocaches.
And, we met Ed Robinson, Bill's former boss with the Idaho Department of Lands.
Since retiring, Ed has immersed himself in a passion he took up about a dozen years ago, painting.
Ed had spent some time at McArthur Lake where swans and geese and ducks just don't shut up.
No complaints on the birds; they are beautiful and so reminiscent of the glories of spring.
Ed showed us his "plein air aka painting outdoors" project at the preserve, adding that he has some touching up plans.
Visiting places like the Wyman Preserve provides a wonderful outlet and plenty of space and eye candy for those who need to get out of the house.
And, why not consider some geocaching while visiting these areas!
It's a sport found all over the world, and, at times like this another wonderful outlet for young and old and especially for family fun.
Not only can you put out your own caches in neat places for someone else to find, but you can find several caches a day in your area, simply by going to the website and typing in your zip code.
It's ever-evolving and almost always educational, like the beautiful Wyman Preserve.

Now, for a couple of public service notes.
Sandpoint Online is featuring some links where you can learn what's happening locally in the coronavirus pandemic.
AND,
my dearly beloved Jeralyn, with help from the Cedar Post staff at Sandpoint High School, put together some helpful counseling information for students.
BTW: Jeralyn Lewis Mire was Idaho's High School Counselor of the Year a few years back.
And, having known her since she was walking the aisles of St. Joseph's Catholic Church as a toddler, checking out the choir, I can vouch for the fact that she is one of the most contagiously positive people I know.
So, enjoy Jeralyn's production, which illustrates that our educators are doing their very best to serve their students during this crisis.
