K.I.S.S.: GO, ZAGS!!!

Kevin aka "Angel, Jr." and sports commentator Andy Katz, yesterday in Indianapolis.

Let me tell you about Kevin.  He is one of the nicest "gentlemen" you'll ever meet.  That's because he comes from one of the nicest families you'll ever meet.

For several years, I have known this family, including "Angel, Sr.," through church, through community involvement and as an admirer of the many good and noble works they have  done over the years for so many.

They are LONG time ZAGS fans, and our Love family has been so fortunate that through their generosity and downright human thoughtfulness, they have shared the ZAGS wealth with us many times over.

No words can properly express the appreciation we all have for the many times they have seen that we and our friends/foreign exchange students have been able to witness the ZAGS experience, up close and personal.

And, so yesterday when I saw this photo of Kevin and sports personality Andy Katz on Facebook, my heart skipped a beat of joy (maybe a bit of jealousy) for Kevin and his family.

I was thrilled that Kevin gets to take part in this monumental weekend in Indianapolis, and I'm sure his mom and dad and sister are busting their buttons.

It's an "ultimate" sort of weekend, topping off decades of loyalty, love and association with this team and its upbeat, inspiring and beautiful story.

The longtime Gonzaga tale is truly the main event, but its poignant subplots and vast cast of supporting characters reach across the spectrum of fans in the Spokane area, across the nation and around the world.

Each fan has his or her Gonzaga story, encompassing a string of tales, illustrating their loyalty, their fun, their ZAGS game uniform, their antics and the social activities associated with games.

Many dedicated fans need fewer than five fingers to count the games they've had to miss. And, they can probably tell you exactly why they had to miss those games.

I'm sure everyone will be aboard in their living rooms, in sports bars or in the stands for tonight's game vs. UCLA and, hopefully, in Monday night's National Championship.

Not one soul on Earth knows how this story is going to end, but I can assure you that, whenever or however it does end, every ZAG fan will be filled with positive and appreciative emotions for the wonderful moments this teams and who came before it have brought into their lives.

A heartfelt and eternal thank you to "Angel, Jr." and to "Angel, Sr." for our very special ZAG memories, along with a request for Kevin to just cheer a little louder tonight for those who celebrate your opportunity to be there in person.

To all the rest of us ZAG FANatics:   here's today's version of
