When life is filled with little comparatively low-key but meaningful moments with no drama, it's a pretty good day.
And, that's just how Tuesday was around here yesterday.
Nothing major, just a whole lot of nice moments scattered from dawn to dusk.
The day included enjoying a visit with a neighbor, spending more time at the Flower Farm and adding more color to the deck area with more pansies and petunias.
My hanging flower baskets are coming next week, so that area will be bursting with fun colors.
Bill went to the dump and then took the Hughesnet equipment in the provided box to send back to the satellite company.
That signaled the official ending of our association with the satellite internet company. We stuck with them for several years through slow times and more slow times, but it was Internet in the country.
Now, we're with a different company which provides enough feed for us to stream movies and actually watch videos in the same time frame as the video runs, so that's a plus.
After dropping off the box at UPS, Bill went fishing with his pontoon boat at Mirror Lake.
In the meantime, after planting flowers, I just hung out with the dogs, enjoyed the country views here in Selle and the green, green grass of home.
It was all very nice. Just no startling headlines here at the Lovestead.
I did, however, read a headline on the back page of a tabloid addition to today's Bonner County Daily Bee.
The headline in the "Neighbors" tab lured me into a story about a former student AND a lady, who as a high school student, wrote a very nice and clever endorsement the back of my first book Pocket Girdles.

The short feature announces that Dr. Talitha Neher had come home to Sandpoint to practice veterinary medicine at North Idaho Animal Clinic and to be closer to her parents.
I could have sworn from its witty style that Talitha wrote the story, but credit was given to her colleague at the vet hospital.
It's a fun story about a brilliant woman and lifelong lover of animals.
Just to give you a taste of Talitha's writing talent, which led her to winning a regional outdoor writing contest when she was in high school, I'll share her book endorsement.
Keep in mind: she was a high school student when this was written, and, yes, she always earned an A in my honors English class.
"This book is snappy. It is like being whopped in the head with a girdle. It delivers a stunning blow of humor to your funny bone. (I am not saying this because the author is my teacher and I want to pass her class. I hold this book in high regard. And I'd like to think I share her sense of humor)."

Happy Wednesday.
