Just Thursday Stuff

We can now wash and dry our clothes again.

Thanks to Lucas at First Choice Appliance Repair, the dryer is working again.

Such items we take for granted until they go down.

We feel very fortunate to have had just a two-day wait before someone could come and fix the dryer.

And, when Lucas came, he was in and out within an hour.

He WAS a little late, but that was because he was helping someone out of the ditch just down the road from our driveway.

In our minds, that said a lot about Lucas, as did his efficiency in finding the problem and fixing it.

For those who don't know, Peter, from Peter's Appliance, has retired, so he recommended First Choice, and we are pleased.

So, jot that down when any of the items below go down at your house.

Thank you, Lucas.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, filled with more than enough work but also some lovely winter scenes.

Today could be very different, as it's raining out there this morning.

Not a whole lot else to report or comment upon this morning, except that Annie is officially on vacation and hosting a geocaching event here in Sandpoint today.

Bill will attend, and she's heard from other local geocachers who plan to attend.

Other than that, we're just revving up with final details in preparation for the Christmas celebration.

My brother Kevin and his wife Joyce are coming tomorrow.

And, Willie and Debbie volunteered to host Christmas dinner with prime rib, ham and the trimmings.

We know it will be a tasty dinner because they're both great cooks.

I'll probably keep my blog posts to a minimum over the next few days to allow some unwinding and kick-back time for visiting and just enjoying the happenings.

So, Happy Thursday on the day before the day before.

Bill takes advantage of cold weather when he makes his tea.  The Subaru usually serves as a nice place for the cool down.
