Let the fun begin.
Well, sorta.
Some has been cancelled because a predicted snow storm which is supposed to dump 8 inches today.
Then, rain.
Translation: Messy weekend.
We're hoping that Bill has a safe trip into Spokane this morning to pick up Annie at the airport.
She arrives at 10 and will be staying for about ten days.
While they are on the road or in the air, I'll probably be backing the tractor out of the shop and do some more plowing.
Once they're home, we can settle in for some good TV watching, puppy playing and general holiday fun.
The holiday vacation got off to a good start for Willie last night as his Bulldog girls team pulled off a victory over Lewiston.
They've had some tough games and losses leading up to last night's win.
One team they played this week, Lake City of Coeur d'Alene, remains undefeated with 11 victories, even after their first game in a Las Vegas tournament.
So, last night brought on some excitement and confidence. Congratulations, Bulldogs.
There was an Arabian Club year-end program scheduled for today, but it had to be cancelled because of the snowstorm.
My friend and neighbor Janice will be happy to know that, after receiving a note from her yesterday morning, I decided to postpone my hair appointment.
The more I thought about it and the more I hear about the Omicron variant, the more I figured it's better to be safe and still gray than sorry.
So, Sally, my hairdresser, and I agreed we'd plan again after the holidays.
And, so Christmas season is upon us and it could be one of the whiter Christmases ever.
Lots to do so, I'll just wish everyone a safe Saturday and the best tidings possible over the next few days.
My friend Connie has lots to report from her home at Hope.
Seems that Willie, their BC pup, got a lot of ink this time, while our Bridie drew blood a couple of times yesterday and engaged in a little toilet-paper art.
Lucky we didn't have her when toilet paper was a luxury. Remember those days???
The holiday beat and puppy chewing go on.
Oh, did I mention that it was pretty dang beautiful around here yesterday. Enjoy the photos.
Happy Saturday.
