More morning noise from flying creatures each day.
More peeps and critters out and about.
So much beautiful life to behold as the much anticipated blossom called spring begins to open itself and expose us to the blessings of Mother Nature.
A trip from my house to Woods Meat Processing for a box of hamburger patties provided oodles of early spring eye candy for me.
Our neighbor Leslie and her daughter were out walking their hounds when I pulled out of the driveway.
I saw one set of neighbors visiting another as they stood enjoying the spring sunshine.
Peeps were out running the roads as were deer in the fields, even jumping fences (the deer, that is).
One can't go much of anywhere at this time without hearing or seeing geese or ducks moving about and talking either on the ground or in the sky.
At our house, an afternoon project opened another opportunity for our Bridie to play outside and to stay reasonably safe.
Bill put up another cable in the west yard which enables me to see Bridie from inside the house and from many perspectives outside.
When the project was complete and Bridie's leash was hooked to the cable, she did encounter a brief learning curve about running too fast at either end.
But Border Collies are smart, and it took only a couple of sudden and stunning halts for her to learn to put on the brakes sooner and by herself rather than allowing the cable to do so.
We also accomplished another goal---rebooking tickets to Ireland.
Willie and Debbie came over for hamburgers, bringing with them a laptop and a tasty fruit desert.
We enjoyed the dessert while finalizing and reserving our newest airline booking for Ireland AND it includes Iceland, so to heck with you, Aer Lingus!
Another beautiful day awaits.
Bridie and I have already been to the second pasture with the chuck-it ball, and she has enjoyed another taste of freedom chasing down that ball every time I throw it.
Fun way to start the day for both of us.
Hoping to enjoy lots of outside time today before tuning in to the Peacocks and the Oscars.
Happy Sunday.
GO, PEACOCKS!
Hope you enjoy the video below.
