Til the cows come home . . . .
Well, these lovely Hereford mamas are enjoying their home just up the road.
They and their babies were bedded down in a cushy expanse of fresh straw, and life looked pretty good for them at the Filipowski farm.
The triplets are 20 today.
Yup, sure seems hard to believe how fast the years have sped by since Jacob, Justine (Iusitina) and Grace moved to the area with their parents from Samoa when they just over 2 years old.
The family has planted their roots in Plummer pretty much ever since the move.
The triplets are our great-nephew and great nieces. And, they're fun and interesting peeps.
So, we've seen them a lot in Sandpoint and at the Lovestead. Even held a graduation party for them and their longtime sidekick Jade a couple of years ago.
As usual, we celebrate them today and we wish them and Jade the best of times ahead as they begin a new decade of life.
Happy Birthday, Jacob, Iusitina and Grace. And, Jade, newly crowned Miss University of Idaho at a recent powwow, we'll catch your 20th soon.
Gonna keep the post "slight" this morning and get on with the activities on this cool Saturday.
