Some nice news on this Easter Sunday from last night's North Idaho Hall of Fame Sports Banquet in Coeur d'Alene
GIRLS COACH OF THE YEAR
5A-4A
Will Love, Sandpoint basketball
Coach Will Love and his lovely wife Debbie.
What a couple!
Love led Sandpoint to its first state title in basketball — boys or girls. Sandpoint finished the year 20-5 and was the No 3 seed at the state tournament.
Four of its losses came against larger 5A schools. At state, Sandpoint won its opener by five, then its semifinal game by 15, and then beat top-ranked and No. 1 seed Shelley 69-65 for the state crown.
Love, a Sandpoint alum, also was selected the state’s 4A coach of the year by the Idaho Statesman.
Other finalists: Shelly Sobek, Lake City swimming; Nicole Symons, Coeur d’Alene basketball

Also, Happy Birthday to the triplets. Hope you all have a great day.

well......... everyone know "it takes a village" so hats off to the parents of Will Love, to Duane Ward who mentored him, to his team who listened to him and honored him by giving their best and to the woman behind the scenes, his wife! What a great Easter surprise (well, no surprise to many of us)!!!!
