Taxes done. Ouch! As usual.
Yard and other projects work done.
Sun shining.
Bill's passport arrives.
It's off to Canada at 1:15 p.m. to do a test run on our new passports.
Easy Peasy during both crossings.
Arrive home in time for chores.
A great day yesterday, indeed.
To add to the fun, Bill sampled and liked his first fish and chips "English style" at Tim's Fish and Chips in Creston.
We actually made the most of our two hours in Canada, first visiting the Creston wildlife refuge west of town and then stopping off at Tim's where the friendly, witty manager was keeping the deep fryers gurgling as fish-hungry customers kept coming through the door.
The experience at the wildlife refuge signaled a need to come back and spend more time on the lovely sand or board walk ways.
It's a beautiful spot, and we did enjoy watching a few ducks as we strolled through one area.
It's been a fun week of spontaneity and new sights. We've put in some enjoyable miles.
Today it's time to buckle down to a schedule once again. Bill has a forestry contest meeting, while Foster has a vet appointment for some vaccinations.
And, I have a fence-painting project to finish before a photo shoot on Saturday. Annie comes for the weekend tomorrow, and I have a hair appointment.
So, no spontaneity for a while but still fun spring stuff.
Life is good.
Happy Thursday.
